Well, surprise surprise!!! The NRL send out a memo that they are getting tough on dangerous throws/tackles 4 weeks ago.
So what happens, 2 origin players get downgrades and the penalties are pretty much on par with what they have always been over the years.
Hypocrisy at its best. Cameron Smith got rubbed out of a grand final. Dave Taylor copped a real bad sentence for a nothing tackle a few years ago and missed origin. Reynolds allowed to play origin 2 after the NRL's "get tough" stance on dangerous tackles.
I am happy for Reynolds and don't care if he plays or not, but clearly there is hypocrisy in the ranks. After watching that tackle and knowing the NRL's edict, I was positive he would cop 4 weeks minimum.
