As usual, they display perfectly that they care only so much for the welfare of the players. The players come a distant second to their concerns about losing crowds if they cut out the thuggery. That worries them.
It's all about their little team winning, and a general reluctance to stop the cheap shots and thuggery. They live in fear that the thuggery will be wiped out of the game.
