Nexus said they have not been formally approached. The article in TheAustralian said the major share holders have been rumored to have been approached. It's extremely likely that both parties are telling the truth. I doubt all the extra interest is entirely because of the rumors. Thing is Nexus is a bit of a takeover target and more people are now aware of this.
I didnt find anything wrong with the article... It's from a reputable newspaper. I doubt they publish stuff without solid research and checks etc.
