I think the point that the naysayers are missing is this. Qantas can lease its planes to Jetstar and keep flying. Jetstar can increase its workforce and take anyone who really wants a job. in a year jetstar can start a premium club.
net effect...nonone stranded, except those people who have been messing with our icon for the past 6 months.
Get back to work, or lose.
I have been thinking something interetsing would happen for a while. This is bloody fantastic. cup week, chogm, govt sccrambling legal people on the weekend. guess what... free publicity to boot, no doubt internationally.
share price irrelevant, suspension probable.
