Moorookamick, i’m not sure the cognitive dissonance analysis works so well these days in looking at the hapless Nats by themselves or as a junior member of the extreme conservative coalition govt.
the Nats only noticeable policy is greed, and everything else is a subset of that.
greed is the glue that’s held the coalition together for all this time. If there has ever been any serious or actual disagreement it’s ever only a minor difference arising from issues related to targeting.
