Joyce was a star for awhile and a very well paid CEO...overpaid even. Once he took on the unions and the airport workers who also were possibly overpaid for their efforts he was in troubled waters. Throw the pandemic in and his final years were a shitshow. His final years pay was obscene and the fact he will miss out on 10 million is fair. His sale of vested shares was the cream with the cherry on top of the cake.The board and renumeration committee have a lot to answer for. Besides my pro capitalist stance on most things CEO pay in Australia especially where these executives have no skin in the game is questionable.
