Excuse my ignorance as I haven't followed all the discussion but, could it be that JP Morgan have simply transferred the remainder of their holding to JP Morgan Nominees Australia, in which case they might still be the benficial holder of say 4.9%.
This could also explain the large jump in the registered holding of JP Morgan Nominees (and explain why as non benificial holder they did not need to report the increased holding). Remember Nominees are not the "real" holders.
Perhaps most of this is about change in "registered" holder, not in beneficial holder, and not about selling.
