@Gharp. There is general misconception that fracking implies having to drill hundreds of unconventional wells as is the norm for shale gas fields in Texas. What I am proposing is to utilise well stimulation techniques to enhance well productivity (expect at least a 2-fold increase in production rate) without increasing the number of future Mukuyu development wells, provided it is economic to do so.

Based on preliminary rock property data, the Mukuyu reservoirs appear to be a combination of conventional and tight (unconventional) sandstones, hence there is scope for maximising well potential without planning for hundreds of wells.
