In the interview, SM said it has not been possible to confirm if M-1 and M-2 are on the same pressure gradient. However, two reservoir pressures were reported in M-1ST; one in the PA and the other in the UA. So, I wonder how much of a disparity exists between the pressure in the UA and any pressure trend line from M-2ST? Is the pressure above or below the M-2ST pressure gradient straight line and by how much?
Although the phenomenon of near wellbore supercharging on the RCI or MDT is normally associated with tight formations, I had the impression that formation damage due to a high mud weight (11.5 PPG in M-1ST) could cause "supercharging" even in reasonably good quality sands. Basically, the very high mud could damage the rock up to a few cm away from the well and at the same time create a zone of trapped high pressure which is at a level higher than the true reservoir pressure.
