Anyone who thinks the fireside chat is somehow going to pour oil on troubled waters does not understand how ASX rule of disclosure work.
If you need your concerns be salved by reassurances from the CEO in a contrived meeting place then you probably should not be investing in highly speculative stock.
I for one wont be attending as I like my company announcements to be official and carefully written to meet ASX factual requirements. Anything else is just fluff that clogs the airwaves of truth and timely reporting. JMHO.
