With no sentiment, there can be no rational panic. Outside of any stated sentiment your stop loss sp, if any, should cushion any panic action.
There’s always a a chance of sp rebound not long after a sale whether from panic or your investment discipline.
Relevant to the conundrum is the amount of information your investment was based on and in turn level of confidence in the stock if enough by your measure not to be spooked by the irrational market.
