This is what the posco IR team told me.
1. It is not known exactly when the results of the extraction of clay lithium being tested in POSCO's laboratory will be announced. POSCO may announce it in July or later.
2. The cost of building factories in Canada and the United States is higher than in Korea. However, POSCO does not have to have a factory in Korea if its customers are in North America and receive tax benefits(IRA) in the United States.
3. What POSCO announced yesterday is a "plan," not a "confirmation." How much lithium POSCO will produce depends on the results of the laboratory.
