Just a video this morning from one of my other larger holdings in digital assets. Mike Novogratz is a seasoned veteran. I see parallels with JRV where we are all aware of the Cobalt story and it is getting better known ie. future deficit, DRC producing 80%, Supermajority of Chinese Refiners, etc. But also emphasis on management, and runway during this dislocation. In the US, all the news is still on EV OEMs, the new Gigafactories going up and then Lithium...Cobalt(ie. Atlantic article which was more about environmental trade offs that we may have to make) and Nickel are just starting to get air time but there just isn't that many American/Western companies to talk about, so less stories overall. DYOR. Galaxy is Digital Asset Merchant Bank with five arms... And in parallel, the realization of the need to secure battery metals is going up with Black Rock and Chamath Palihapitiya chiming in stating '22 is going to be about battery metals. It takes a while for the US to stop gazing at its own navel, but the early signs are there. FWIW.
