Has anyone done rough numbers on what sort of cobalt price JRV...

Has anyone done rough numbers on what sort of cobalt price JRV will have been averaging in Finland over the March quarter? I’m not sure precisely how to calculate the lag time they operate on but the December quarterly said 1-2 months… so while we wait for the end of April it’d be interesting to get a feel.

Reminder:
- 2022 EBITDA guidance of US$50-55M is based on cobalt price of US$34.50/lb (presume this is an annualised average).
- there was a delayed hydroxide delivery in the December quarter which should show up in the March one
- initial figures in July 21 were based on US$20/lb, actuals were US$24/lb (unaudited, proforma)
- sales expected to grow at 6% year on year

Looking at the six-month chart, from November to January (i.e. operating on a two-month lag) the price looks to have averaged somewhere around US$28.25/lb. If you reduce the lag to one month (using December to February) then it’s closer to US$32.00/lb.



Has anyone else looked into this?
