BC made a comment in diggers that Jervois did a scoping study for US Govt around what it cost to set up a cobalt refinery in US($200m). I found that very interesting.I believe US govt awarded 120m lynas recently to construct a rare earth proceeding facility in US in a similar move. Just to be clear I am not speculating that will happen. Just interested in hearing your thoughts. The opening ceremony in Oct is being attended by politicians from both countries. It may be an appropriate platform to show some political support for JRV. Plus There is no other source of domestic cobalt in US for the recently announced EV rebate scheme.
Its not a bad hold at 40c. Downside limited from here while upside possible in lead upto the October event. Still not buying more unless I see some progress on atleast one out of three fronts I mentioned earlier.
