JRV Cobalt, page-647

From memory, few months/quarters ago JRV did a study on behalf of USG for a cobalt refinery on US soil. USG funded that study kindly.

Now the whole thesis behind a study is establishing technical feasibility, selecting land, understanding licencing/environmental requirements, estimating the cost of construction with EPC contractors etc etc... From memory there was even a rough capex number either mentioned on a earnings call or quarterly update.

Since that was a while ago and with Kamala now getting on the critical minerals vote gravy train whats the likely hood JRV is going to get Lynas style funding to effectively free carry them for the cost of construction of facility and perhaps even a juicy offtake from DoD at an incentive price to guarantee financial returns????

That is the best thesis I could come up with. Appreciate there is wishful thinking involved here as BC is still a c@ck and likely arguing with bond holder and others to recapitalise the business.
