He did say shorters were retail and insiders 15.20 in, Freudian slip or something else going on, maybe there could be a link to the leak, could that be the insider. Can anyone elaborate on what he meant by the phrase.
He also said it took a long time to get the information together and the contradicts himself re the shorting, he did not think of writing an article on Monday but Tuesday he decided to write an article (someone shorted Monday, fed him information Tuesday he writes article thursday, would obviously be a very cynical view to take).
All in all something fishy going on. All very wish washy comments, not stating anything, has someone higher up told him to pull his head in or suddenly because it is live he can’t go through legal therefore not confident in his research and insinuations in his write ups. Maybe it is just that, it is all insinuation nothing factual, but I do know it is easy to conclude that someone he spoke to or is working at the AFR both in dec and feb made a healthy profit from shorting, but apparently it did not come from him.
