FYI LTA...

Jubilee has 2 main OWC's separated by a marker shale all across the field, which makes it very unique.

The marker divides the reservoirs into 2 Main zones, Upper & Lower Mahogany sands. These r further subdivided into 4 & 2 oil payzones. So not all 6 zones r producers, only 4 are. Pressure ranges from 5000-5700 psia across the field. Field as such is classed as a stacked channel and fan play. Oil API is 36-37 deg.

Field has 25 development wells drilled on it.

14 producers & 11 injectors (mostly water & some gas) have been drilled so far. Drilling was done in avg 23 days from spud to TD. Another round of drilling will have more wells added to it, to maintain 101k bopd flowrates. Field life is 20 years (with 8-9 yr of Peak). Total Production till Sept qtr was 157 mmbbls oil (had its 5th anniv, a week ago).

Average GOR is 1200 scf/bbl, so the gas gets stripped & re-injected back.

However, the govt asked them to pipe it. So a portion has been exported/piped onshore (ie 15 bcf so far) since Nov'14 & rest of the gas is re-injected back to maintain reservoir pressure. They r basically doing waterflooding with some help from gravity drive & solution gas.
