As an Eagle fan I was suprised at how sad I felt because Judd left. However good luck to him. I was sad because he is sooo damm good and such a class act. We got good service and we will get good in return.
I'm not predicting it (yet) but Carlton making the 8 next year would not surprise. Judd, Stevens, Murphy, Gibbs, Waite, Fevola etc. There are good players at Carlton especially the midfield, which is what counts most. With a new coach and direction they will be big improvers I have no doubt.
Freo, Bulldogs, Rich, Ess, Syd, Adel and Melb will not make the 8 in 2008 so there is real potential.
Judd is no fool. Family and money are excellent ad legitimate reasons to go home but I reckon Judd would be convinced the Blues will be playing finals footy in the next 2/3 years.
