Trump's almost total lack of history and geography is very clear.
Personally I believe that if he had travelled, he'd be a far wiser person. Because he hasn't - he's truly an ignorant fool in such matters.
There's something that stops him from travelling. I suspect that he's got some kind of phobia --- perhaps fear of flying. Perhaps a dreaded fear of being away from home or something.
There's a lot of evidence now that he really just can't handle being away from America
The latest excuse to return home early from the G7 -------- 'oh, sorry, got to go and run the war'
then, the Pope's funeral was a heads up --------- he fell asleep at the funeral ---------- why?
America to Rome isn't a big deal - certainly not a big deal in a first class bed - so, why was he exhausted to the point of falling asleep?????
IMO - he wasn't exhausted - he was still sedated from the travel - I believe he's sedated for all flights out of the USA --
I think it was the opening of the renovated Notre-Dame, on the flight - he looked unkempt - again, was it 'I've just woken up' - or 'I'm actually sedated for the plane trip'
then, when he got out of the car to go into Notre-Dame, after meeting with Zelensky - Trump looked again - unkempt. Ruffled. As if he was hanging about in a daze and couldn't tuck his own shirt in.
The man - simply doesn't like to travel outside of the USA - indeed, it looks like he hates it and my guess is that he fears it.
And there - is the breeding ground for profound ignorance - if you can't travel, you are insulated and in the dark.

and - Trump just plain vanilla - doesn't travel, unless forced - and then, - goes home early.
