Janie BarrettJarden was seeking buyers for the shares at $3 each which was a 6.5 per cent discount to the last close, according to terms sent to potential buyers.There were 97.3 million shares up for grabs, representing 16.6 per cent of the asset manager. The deal was underwritten by Jarden.Neilson had 126 million Platinum shares as at October 1, according to a substantial shareholder notice filed with the ASX.The rest of her stake would be placed into escrow for 90 days, the term sheet said.Jarden’s equities desk was calling for bids by Thursday night.
