Did you see Julia Gillard on Lateline last night? It was scary. A much more arrogant and conceited tone than we saw in the lead up to the election. Cynically refused to answer ANY of the questions put to her. Robotically and tediously stayed 'on message' despite the valiant efforts by Leigh Sales to bring her back to the questions. Pathetically tried to shift the focus to the opposition each time a pertinant question was asked. And the bovver boy union accent has returned!
We deserve better than this. It is an insult. She doesn't seem to differentiate between the Lateline audience and that of, say, ACA or Alan Jones.
What is it about intelligent and articulate people like Mal Turnbull and Bob Brown that scares the Australian media and public?
