This figure is indefensible. Why? because each year, when the goose delivered a budget, this "peak" figure was lower. This government are loose with the truth and loose with your money.
Look at the long term trend on government bond yields. Ask yourself, when this returns to trend, how much interest will Australians be paying on this GROSS debt?
And what is the ALP offering? More spending - indefensible.
