Labor: then introduces a historic paid parental leave scheme where all working mother receive the same amount.
Abbott: then throws his past objection to paid parental leave and tries to trump the government by introducing a big new tax so he pay the more well mothers earning $150,000 a year $75000 for six monthe parental leave. Low income earners may be lucky to get $20000.
Abbott: says climate change is you know what(another word for excreta) then to try and get elected is willing to spend hundreds of millions to solve the problem he doesnt believe in.
Abbott: Says workchoices was a great achievement but now shiftily wants us to believe it is dead buried cremated.
Lots of reasons to not vote for Abbott there.
On the other hand the Labor Government kept us out of recession. We have low unemployment. We have lower interest rates than when Howard left. The big multinational miners have agreed to pay more to Australia. We will get world class broadband that will underpin better communication, business productivity, education and health. We will get a better health system.
Good reasons to re-elect a Gillard Labor Government.
