That's way over due. Some magistrates and judges truly believe they are better than those who grace the corridors of power in Parliament and electors are nothing more than buffoons.
They continually, and aggressively, push through judgments and make pronouncements in the media, that usurp the role of Parliament.
They have, deliberately or otherwise,aka Joh Bjelke-petersen of Qld infamy, ignored the laws of the separation of powers between the Parliament and the judiciary. They should know better!
That legal beagle media buffoon, Geoffrey Robertson, is a prime example of this pernicious malady permeating the legal 'profession'.
