You will see this trend increase as Abbott needs a steady torrent of one liners and scare mongering which have to be supported daily by the media.
Without this manipulation people will eventually sit down and sort facts from threats.
I cannot see this continued media support and lack of scrutiny that Abbott currently enjoys continuing to the degree that it has to date, especially with the news press so on the nose.
A doubling of support in such a short time is no surprise at all as it reflects a more normal debate.
