Watso, what a nasty shallow person you are. By your own admission (your comments) you only judge people by how they look and talk, and if you are a woman it is if you have borne children. What about all the men that don't have children or even worse the men and women that have children and abuse them or leave them or both. It's a very sad indicement on society if this is how we now judge our fellow human beings. You say that you can only have empathy if you have children, then what about all the amazing people that are childless but dedicate their lives to others including children. Julia Gillard is part of a family, she has extended family that she loves and she has a stepdaughter that she loves. Julie Bishop also lives in a happy relationship with her partner and is childless, do you have the same opinion of her - I bet not. People with your 17th & 18th century opinion and ideas are thank god a minority. Take a look on both sides of politics and you will see all shapes and sizes.
