JULIA GILLARD has scored a badly needed victory on the NBN by negotiating a compromise to break the Senate deadlock.
Full credit to Senator Xenophon for refusing to buckle to the Govts demands, thus giving all Australians some insight into the much touted proposed Broadband.
We still dont know whether the NBN will turn out to be a Telco wonder-grid or an expensive Stuffup.
But this whole political exercise has shown the PM can change, she is flexible when needed. You never know, she might even last the full term.
On the other hand, Tony Abbot is getting a reputation as a Spoiler, with little positives. Female voters seem to be giving him the thumbs down, a real No No.
At a time of disfunctional Govt it should be relatively easy for an Opposition Leader to score points and to gain a positive rating; so far he's not doing that.
Sorry, but this is only my opinion.
