fyi. I have very mixed feelings about Assange. He’s been made a saint and I don’t think he is. But I also think he exposed the duplicity of the US which is ok. Though all countries tend to be duplicitous because it is about power.

but my reading of the Swedish complaint was very uncertain and the didn’t try to evade the law there because of the co playing but because it arose after the US declared they wanted him. There was no guarantee at all he’d get a fair trial or not be extradited to the US

so I’m sticking with the same principles as we ought to have on any legal situation- if he’s not guilty in a court of law - however that happens it remains alleged. I won’t slam him no matter what I thought about him personally
