Her promises to the public is different to the promises she secretly gave the independents and greens to side with her. Therein lies her problem. No integrity. She chose to lie to her own supporters to gain power at all costs.
No integrity from the independents either. They would have known that the promises she was making conflicted with her promises to the people. Maybe the coalition was the same. In that case the independent, if there was any integrity, should have refused to support either and demanded a new election.
Are we to be shocked with this outome thus far? No, its politics, full of liars and backstabbers. We couldn't have expected any better.
