Doesnt take much intelligence to work out that the more radical elements of Green policy will not come into being and is just a continuation of the scare tactics by members of the coalition propoganda machine.

You all conveniently overlook the fact that Labor and the independendants and coalition in the lower house will not pass legislation such as death duties and even if the greens proposed a private members bill to do so.

Furthermore the biggest voting bloc in the Senate are the coalition and Labor and anything too unpalatable to both would never get through.

The Greens like the Nationals are just minor parties that align to the side they would most prefer to govern. About 80% of the time the Opposition of the day actually votes with the government on legislation but some of the coalition amateur political pundits on this forum dont seem to realise that.

The smart people on HC from all sides of politics know the real and truthful position and realise that it is just party politics talking without reason when outrageous claims under this silly thread header are made. Boring stuff.
