Old saying and very true "the road to hell is paved with good intentions". And that is not referring to any imaginary afterlife. It is referring to the real physical and emotional hell created on earth by well-intentioned people such as the socialists who were responsible for the deaths by murder and starvation of 200 million people in the last 150 years. Or the Spanish inquisition. All well intended of course, to protect people from wrong ideas that might upset them.
