I could be wrong but I think Julie Bishop is smart enough to realise there is next to no chance the coalition winning the next election. She has opted to not be part of its demise. The Dutton camp have finished the govt off and Morrison is there to try and save some furniture. Of course in politics there is always the possibility things will change but any rational observer at this stage would imo say the govt is cactus. The removal of Turnbull and the shifty way it was done can only set the govt back further and it was already behind. It remains to be seen whether like Gillard when she outed Rudd whether there is any honeymoon period for Morrison.

One needs to bear in mind in election terms the govt cannot afford to lose one seat to Labor and the reality is there are stacks that are in play.
