I'll just keep stating it I guess, I'm calling them radicals because they are behaving like radicals. they are radicals and they are right wing, ergo radical right.
But if you want to get into the ideology further, Dutton and Abbott consistently poll somewhere between single digits and 10-15 per cent in preferred leader polls. In other words they are further to the right than 85 per cent of the country, so you could call that far right I guess. Centre right to me would imply someone able to reach voters in the centre.
But again, it's their behaviour that I'm calling radical, not their ideology. I believe in stability and would love it if we could get through a whole term with one prime minister and let voters decide. I think that's a pretty mainstream view, even if you feel differently.
