It is not just about budget blowout, it is the principle of not wasting taxpayers money.

There is no excuse why she could not take the next commercial flight available.

She needs to reimburse taxpayers that $30,000, and publicly, in a news conference, not in parliament, apologize to the Australian people for her indulgence in getting the VIP jet to take only two of them to Canberra.

I do hope Turnbull will have the courage to make her do that.
