Labor is foolish to make its first battle in opposition the defence of one of its mate’s-rates appointments - that of former Labor Premier Steve Bracks as Consul-General to New York:
STEVE Bracks has played a role in his own demise as after losing the confidence of the Abbott Government by actively fundraising and campaigning against it.
Former Labor leader Kim Beazley, though, will stay on as our ambassador to Washington until the end of next year.

I mean really, fair suck of the sav, this goose actively campaigns against the Coalition being elected, then expects to swan off overseas at taxpayer's expense, representing a Government he quite obviously does not support? What a d***head.
Labor would have done exactly the same thing, no ifs buts or maybe's! Plibersek is just a mouth, and a total waste of taxpayer's money if she truly believes she and her party are so sanctimonious in all things!!!!
