    I have a solar farm (5kW) on my roof So in reality I don't have to make a choice.

    My solar farm makes me a great return, about 12.5 % p/a on my investment so I am very happy that there are other consumers subsidizing my lifestyle. I haven't had a power bill in 5 years and have whole of house reverse cycle A/C all year round. We love it.
