I admire the courage of asylum seekers.
No courage is needed to criticise them.
Apart from Aboriginal people, who walked to Australia
before the oceans rose, we are all boat or plane people.
Australia has no culture to defend. People of many races
brought their cultures with them and together we've
created a multicultural land noted for Hybrid Vigour.
My great grandparents were Boat People who got
married in 1865 and got on a boat and sailed
away to the furtherest ends of the Earth to
Australia just like today's Boat People do:
