    Horsa is worried about my attitude to culture. He says:
    "no culture to defend" - quite an appalling statement.

    I don't see cultures as sacred. The British culture
    included slavery, flogging, beheading, hanging
    and (until 1830) publically hanging children
    as young as nine (outside Newgate Prison)
    to teach others to respect property rights.

    We have copied the lack of human rights for
    British children (circa 1830) in our lack of
    human rights for kidnapped children
    we transport (like criminals) to our
    offshore Devil's Island prisons.

    Clean up that Aussie Abomination and maybe
    we'll have an Aussie culture worth defending.

    There is no 'One True' Aussie culture. There
    are many cultures here and none is Top Dog:
