Shorts have gone from a tad under 1% in March to about 3% now. That is about an extra 1m shorts, and about $42/50m in total. That's a fair chunk of change that says the SP is overvalued.
In a perverse way, I'd prefer the SP to stay down, and then boom post 1st July, but that is most selfish. And the 6 month wait could test one's resolve.
Maybe there will be a super +ve ANN, but Mr Market says not in the short term.
If there is a Market Update, then it will cast a very Black cloud on GWs recent sale of $2m of stock. Questions may be asked in the house.
