I guess some are just trying to make some view on the sudden drop over the past couple of weeks, especially in a good general market. Shorts were raised so I tried to put some metrics around that. Nothing more.
I agree that 6 months is nothing, and having held for over 10 years, it is of little concern. However as another poster mentioned, my future living standard is tied to my SMSF, and currently I'm seeing a hole developing.
The discounted valuation drops considerably if dose growth is nearer 10% than 20%. We will find out in Jan, if not sooner, I guess. If I'm right then I would take no pleasure in being so - far from it.
