Highly unlikely. They could consider providing funds for R&D though for a larger slice of the BLT pie. They need somewhere to invest their recent windfall after all. If BLT don't get some decent funding soon, the CSIRO risk their investment in BLT. Whilst RNAi will still ultimately be invaluable scientifically speaking, the opportunity to make any money out of it diminishes greatly with looming patent expiry.
