I am sure that this is the same drug that I mentioned in my malaria vaccine post.
The study was published yesterday in The Journal of Clinical Investigation. The research team from Griffith University is lead by Michael Good and is now seeking volunteers for a human trial. If the trial proves successful, wider Australian testing will be followed by a field trial in affected country in Africa or the Pacific. If all goes well, a vaccine could be widely available within 5 years,according to Professor Good.

Yeah, sure but.....I thought malaria got no press in Australia because it wasn't present in Austrlia. I guess I will try to make contact with the articles author John Ross and see if he can do an ArTiMist article.
