Sorry, but your interpretation is wrong. Bud is all about data collection, how else could it provide information about power usage. The data it collects is vital to being able to provide companies a solution for savings into the future. You are confusing this with the sale of all data, including parse data, for other companies to use. This data has been collected from many other sources, not just BUD. You are also wrong if you think that LIFX is just a fancy light bulb. I suggest you do a bit of serious research.
