I prefer to not think too hard about economics as I feel it fools you into ignoring charts and cycles which ARE the truth IMO.
Doesn't mean I don't have a view but unhelpful for trading advice.
All countries have their own cycles although we see the west closely coupled most of the time. At times we still do our own thing and is why Armstrong has always stated the his cycles can be echoes of his US based prognostications.
That is also why I place just as much emphasis on major turns as his "fixed" dates.
