Hi energytsars. Yes thanks for that. I had come across that earlier today as I began to check and see if I could find anything clearer about the FTAA- Philippines on the internet. I recall about 2 or 3 months ago reading a comment ( and it could have been someone's post ) that June 18th was a critical date. The point made in what I read was that as OGC's original 25 year FTAA officially ran out on 19 June 2019 then a renewal had to be approved within 12 months of that date (i.e. by 19 June 2020) or the FTAA ceased to exist.
Now I am not sure how correct that comment is. At the time I assumed that it was factual but certainly the OGC comment that you quote appears to contradict that. I think that issue needs more investigation. I will try and find the source of what I read. I am leaning towards the opinion that it was in a post back about 2 to maybe 6 months ago at most.
