Is Nunasvaara remaining an open pit and Niska underground?
Will be interesting to keep an eye on the power supply.
Niska SS: "The permitting and installation of a new 130kV powerline from Svappavaara at an estimated cost of US$11M and a timeline of 3-5 years is one of the major items on the critical path."
Vittangi PFS: "The Mine will be connected to the regional grid power, requiring a new power line to be added from Svappavaara to the proposed mine substation. The grid is operated by JBF (Jukkasjärvi Sockens Belysningsförening) who confirmed that there is sufficient power that can be delivered from a local substation to the Project site via a minor upgrade to the existing overhead lines from the E45 highway."
