hi all .i have been camping and exploring woods point for quite a while ,with a bit of panning . most mines used an inclined tramway ( full down empty up ) .some of the locals know the place like the back of your hand and love a chat ,especially barb at the small museum . i know one person when you were allowed to dredge ,got 50oz in one season from mine tailings in the river and 5oz in one small trap the old timers missed . ( dont usually post spelling is poor) regards
