Investment banks cannot divulge information across the "chinese wall", i.e. the Investment Bankers (advising AJM e.g.) cannot tell the Trading Division they are working on a takeover bid for company XYZ
Anyone who says that happens is watching too many movies. May have happened in the 80s and 90s, not now.
