    The world being far larger and more powerful exerts its own pressure through sheer weight of its conditions and events upon the individual, who only has limited abilities and resources, and so is largely swept along by the World and its events and calls this relentless stream of actions and events of the World, the sheer scale of events and pressures that an individual cannot hope to control or even modify, fate.
